Aussie World is THE place to hang out with the tweenies. The one price entry fee makes for a great day out. With 30 rides throughout the complex you’ll find some that have the buzz factor that all kids love. Aussie World provides a fabulous affordable day out for the family. With the Ettamogah Pub next door, even Dad will find a great ending to the day with a juicy steak waiting for him.  

 

Bellmaze

 The Bellmaze has lots of fun things for the family.
The adventure begins when you pass the magic waterfall and wishing well, then go over the bridge to reach the amazing star hedge maze. Take on the maze challenge to not only reach
the centre, but also to find the gnomes. When you are done,
there are mini mazes, aviary and do the puzzles at the cafe
when you grab a snack to recharge after your adventure.

 

The Ginger Factory

 Tours and fun awaits you at the Ginger Factory. With treats like The Ginger Shop, The Superbee Honey Shop, Gingertown and acres of tropical gardens to explore, your family will be fascinated with what can be made from Ginger. Feeling the hungry? The Ginger cafe and Bliss Ice Creamery will take care of that.

The  Ginger Tour will explain how ginger is processed which is made even better with a tasting session at the end, you can pick up some great cooking tips too.

 The Superbee Live bee show is the latest Buzz, this unique display lets you see how honey is made. Your tastebuds will be treated to a sample of fresh pure honey.

Overboard is the fun lifeboat ride for the family, taking you through displays of themes around the world. Keep an eye on for the Gingerbread man, see if he finally gets caught!

If you have any train buffs in the family, be sure to hop aboard the Ginger Train Tour. This authentic cane train is fun for all ages.

 The Big Pineapple

 The Big Pineapple is one of those iconic
“BIG” things located around Australia.

There’s more to see and do at the Big Pineapple once you’ve taken the obligatory shot with the big piece of fruit.

The Big pineapple has a restaurant to tempt you, along with the Plantation Train tour, Wildlife park and the large gift store with tropical fruit jams, and sauces, lollies galore
and souvenirs.

You can also jump aboard the Nutmobile which will take you through the rainforest and macadamia plantation.

Jump back in time and land in a medieval castle located here on the Sunshine Coast! The kids will love the displays including a 24 meter high Lookout Tower.
There’s a lot to do including the daily Treasure Hunts, Dancing Dolls to see; along with the Miniature City, Toy and Doll Museum, Fairy Tale Diorama’s and Model Train Railway.

The big kids will love the Lord of the Rings display and weapons displays.

Underwater World is a fantastic trip for the family. You can touch and see some amazing creatures and be delighted by the daily shows. A fantastic destination for families on holidays, take packed snacks to nibble on while you make your way around the huge aquarium, or pick up something from the great menu at the Cafe.  Twice a year the Indee Theatre company hosts performances for children. The youth theatre has had some terrific performances, the recent Wind in the Willows had us in giggles with the antics of Mr Toad.

The next performance in January is the classic Wizard of Oz.
