So many
aspects of the Noosa experience is based around water. Whether it's
in it splashing about, riding around on it on a jet ski or BBQ
Pontoon with a line out the back or watching the sun go down over
the hinterland with the
last rays of the day playing on the water.
We have three
pages devoted to what you can do in
and on the water.

Ratty from Wind in the Willows would agree that today would be
"a lovely day for messing about in boats"
A popular activity for
families is a gentle ride up the river on a hired BBQ boat cooking
up some fresh fish, whether you catch it yourself, or pick it up on
Gympie Terrace - just in case!
Our river system leads out to
the ocean and we have some great deep sea fishing operators who will
take you out.
However
you get out on the water, make sure you take plenty of water,
sunscreen and cover the kids up with hats and rashies
(see Babes in the Shade for practical stylish
shirts for the kids)
